G&T Athletics is a sports outreach ministry dedicated to fulfilling the vision, purpose and goals of First Bible Baptist Church. G&T Athletics Ministry leaders present “pep talks” –lessons from the Bible–that are practical, challenging and informative. Through a demonstration of love for Christ and community, this ministry represents God as sovereign, Jesus Christ as Lord, and the Bible as relevant for today.

G&T Youth Baseball offers boys’ and girls’ Tee Ball and Coach Pitch, boys’ minor and majors, and junior leagues, and a boy’s senior travel team competing against other local area teams. We also offer a girls junior softball league. You’ll play ball on lined, well groomed and maintained fields and be led by helpful, friendly and enthusiastic coaches and umpires. Tee Ball and Coach Pitch is played on eight Saturdays in May and June. Minor and Major league travel teams play from April to July.

Ministry Goals
It is the goal of G&T Athletics to provide the best quality sports and recreation program possible. This is accomplished through the dedicated service of hundreds of equipped volunteers, using the finest athletic equipment at well maintained facilities. All of our programs require individual registration. Player participants are placed on teams of the respective leagues to ensure fair competition and balance. It is our goal for our participants to play in a safe and moral atmosphere and to develop not only as baseball players, but as quality young people as well.

You can also read a welcome letter written to those who are new to the ministry or are just looking for a good place for their children to be active in a positive sports environment.

We encourage parents to stay with their children throughout each session and enjoy the fun! If you've been involved in years past, welcome back.
