Captain/Player
Favorite Bible Verse:

1 Peter 1:18-21
Favorite part of the League:

Having the chance to spread the Gospel of Jesus, the

fellowship and the competitive fun we always have.
Bio:

I have been in this league for 13 seasons. I came to the league just to play football. After some time

I came to realize the true value of the league, and came to the understanding of the true power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and what He did for me. I credit this league and the people in it for helping me grow not only spiritually but also as a man. I currently am married and we just had our first child on January 5th 2007 (his name is Peyton and he is a big Cowboys fan already).

(Patriots)

Involved in League Since:

2002
Role(s) in Ministry:

Referee for one season, player for two seasons, assistant captain for one season.

Favorite Bible Verse:

Psalm 37:4-5
Favorite part of the League:

Getting the opportunity to meet and become friends with new men and getting the

opportunity to share the gospel with the men and their families.

Bio:

I have loved the game of football for as long as I can remember and many of my character traits were developed from playing, coaching, and refereeing this great game. The first time I heard the message of Jesus Christ was when I was introduced to this league and three years later I came to know Him as my Lord and Savior.  The Lord has done some great and wonderful things in my life since that day and now I have the opportunity to return the favor and share "the good news" with other men.

Favorite Bible Verse:

Proverbs 18:24.
Favorite part of the League:

The fellowship with the players during and after the game
Bio:

I was born and raised in Gates, NY. I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior on 2/12/84. I met my wife in the Bible Institute at FBBC. I initially got involved in the ministry because of my love for the sport. As I got more involved and took more responsibility, God changed my heart to put the men first and the football second. The playing is still good, but the working for the Lord is great!
