COURSE DESCRIPTION
A flat, fast, loop course with minimal turns. The course is certified (NY070B1JGL) by the USAT&F and crosses no major intersections. It begins at the south driveway on Manitou Road and finishes in the North church parking lot. The church is located at 990 Manitou Road.
ENTRY FEE
There is a $16 pre-registration fee due on or before 11/25/08, $18 on 11/26/08 or $20 on race day. This fee includes a sweatshirt if you are one of the first 200 paid applicants or a long-sleeved T-shirt once that limit is reached. All entry fees are non-refundable.
PRE-REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
These will be available from 4-8 PM at FBBC on Wednesday, November 26th, as well as race morning from 7:30-8:45 AM.
AGE GROUPS
Male: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & over.
Female: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79 and 80 & over.
FAMILY ORIENTED CATEGORIES
Winners will be determined based upon combined times: Husband/Wife, Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Daughter, Mother/Son, Brother/Sister, Brother/Brother, Sister/Sister
AMENITIES
Digital display clock finish, post-race awards ceremony, water stations at two & four miles, plenty of food & refreshments, splits at every mile and 5K, 5, 10 & 15 year Participation Patches, computerized race results available online.
AWARDS
$300 cash for male/female open, $150 cash for male/female masters (40+), $75 cash for male/female veterans (50+), $50 cash for male/female seniors (60+), $25 cash for male/female age group winners, additional awards will be given to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers (or top 10% - whichever is greater) in each age group, $25 gift certificates for each of the eight family-oriented categories, $10 gift certificates for clydesdale and filly division winners
GREECE AUTUMN ALLIANCE
The Run for Hospice and the Race with Grace have teamed up for a ninth straight year to continue their 5K & 10K series established in 1998. Everyone who runs both races is automatically entered into the series. The top male and female overall series winners with each receive a $100 cash award. The top male and female masters series winners will receive a $75 cash award. All series results will be listed online.
HALF-MILE FUN RUN
Weather permitting, there will be a special race for children under twelve (12) years of age beginning at 9:15 AM on race morning. No advanced sign-up is necessary.
